Geefic VPN: Privacy Policy & End-User License Agreement

Our commitment to absolute digital anonymity and the terms governing your use of our service.

PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY

Geefic VPN is built on a foundation of absolute digital anonymity. This policy outlines our commitment to a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture where your private traffic remains your own.

The Principle of Non-Collection

Our service is engineered to ensure that we never see, store, or track your online activities.

No Traffic Logs: Geefic VPN does not monitor, record, or store your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.

No Connection Logs: We do not log your IP address, outgoing VPN IP address, connection timestamps, or session durations.

Local Tunneling: All encryption and routing protocols are managed locally on your device. Your data packets are encrypted before they leave your hardware, and the "keys" to your digital life never reach our servers.

Interaction with Third-Party Platforms

To maintain a high-performance network and facilitate app discovery, we utilize a minimal set of third-party tools. These tools handle technical metadata, not personal content.

  • Firebase (Google): Employed for real-time crash reporting and identifying performance bottlenecks. This helps us ensure the VPN tunnel remains stable.
  • Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These services help us measure our marketing reach. They may collect technical identifiers like your device's IDFA or GAID to confirm if a specific ad led to a download.

Data Restriction: These third parties are strictly prohibited from accessing your VPN traffic or mapping technical identifiers to your real-world identity.

Legal Basis for Data Handling

We operate under the following legal frameworks:

  • Contractual Obligation: Processing technical data is necessary to establish the secure VPN connection you request.
  • Legitimate Interests: We utilize pseudonymized technical data to protect our service from fraud, improve server load balancing, and optimize the user experience.

Comprehensive User Rights

Regardless of your jurisdiction, Geefic VPN extends the following rights to all users:

  • Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is being shared or sold. Geefic VPN does not sell your personal data. Sharing is limited to the technical service providers listed in Section 2 for operational purposes only.
  • Right to Access: You may request details regarding any information we have associated with your account (typically limited to technical logs or support tickets).
  • Right to Rectification: You may demand the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data that we or our partners may hold.
  • Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the total deletion of your data. Note that uninstalling Geefic VPN removes all local configurations and history immediately.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: You maintain the right to raise concerns with a relevant data protection authority or regulatory body regarding our handling of your information.

Opting Out of Data Sharing

While we do not sell data, you have total control over the sharing of technical identifiers:

  • System-Level Control: You can prevent third-party attribution by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Interest-Based Ads" (Android) in your device settings.
  • Permission Revocation: You may revoke the VPN Configuration permission at any time, which will immediately cease all VPN-related processing.

Data Retention Standards

  • VPN Traffic Data: This data is transient and exists only in the "active" memory of the device during a session. It is never written to disk or stored long-term.
  • Technical Analytics: Any non-identifiable technical data collected by our partners is kept for the shortest duration necessary for troubleshooting and growth analysis, usually between 30 days and 14 months.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee our privacy strategy and respond to user inquiries.
